What our creators actually work with
Every “25 best tools” list is written by someone who uses none of them daily. This is what actually keeps coming back among the people who work with us, and why.
Editing: Premiere or DaVinci
Premiere because most clients already live in the Adobe world and files move back and forth. DaVinci because it starts free and the colour work is better. Whoever works for you usually has a preference; do not force them to switch, it only costs you time.
Design: Figma alongside Illustrator
Figma has won for anything where someone has to look along, because you get feedback inside the file instead of in an email with screenshots. Illustrator stays for print and everything that has to remain vector.
The file problem is bigger than the tool problem
Where it usually goes wrong is not which software someone uses but where the files live. Agree which folder the final result lands in and who has access to it, on the day you start. Otherwise you will not find your own images six months later.
For the client: a shared folder is enough
You do not need a project tool for a one-day shoot. A folder, a date and one contact person will do. With ongoing work that changes — then it helps to have the hours and the briefs in one place, which for us sits in the platform.
See what it costs. Three questions, a number on the screen, no account.
